That’s the implied finding of a massive, CDC-funded survey of 5 million Americans conducted by researchers from Carnegie Mellon and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.1
According to the University press release, “vaccine hesitancy” diminished across most demographics from January to May yet “held constant,” however, among “the most educated group (those with a Ph.D.).”
Here’s the kicker:
“…by May Ph.D.’s were the most hesitant group.”

Why balk at the shot?
“While tentative people are concerned about COVID-19 vaccine safety and potential side effects,” the press release reports, “those with stronger views tend to distrust the government.”
Insofar as our dear leaders repeatedly and demonstrably lie about all things Covid, such mistrust is empirically sound.
