My local yoga jaunt has a new scienterrific policy…
Here’s my reply…
Dear LC,
I'd like you to reconsider your vax only policy. Existing Covid vaccines do not prevent infection or transmission. I wish they did, but they don’t.
According to official UK government data, infections are more frequent among fully vaccinated adults (ages 30-80+). You can read the full report here, p. 17.
Ditto in Israel, where ubiquitous vaccination runs concurrent with the highest case rate in the world (as of 9/3). That's according to analysis in the European Journal of Epidemiology, authored by Harvard scientist SV Subramanian.
Undoubtedly you're familiar with CDC director Rochelle Walensky. She had this to say on CNN:
“Our vaccines are working exceptionally well…But what they can’t do anymore is prevent transmission.”

What does one do when the idea we've been implored to believe — that vaccines prevent infection/transmission, and thus will make Covid go away — is no longer tenable? Where do we go from here?
One path, our current path, is to scapegoat “the unvaccinated” as an irrational, subhuman strata guilty of every imaginable sin. And to punish them as such.
The other path is to reconsider.
Namaste ~
